Niihau Shell Lei. Authenticated. Graduated Momi Lenalena. Delicate warm shade of yellow Momi "dove" shells. 3 graduated strands measuring 32 inches, 35 inches, and 37 inches including the clasp. Sewn in the Pikake (Jasmine flower) lei style. Clasp is a 3/4 inch Isabella Cowry (Leho kupe'elima) embellished with 2 Kauno'o or rare variegated sundial shells on each side of the cowry. Assessed characteristics: Good selection of shell size, color, and alignment giving the lei the proper fluidity and flexibility. The 3 strand graduated lengths allow the lei to drape in a tiered, cascading effect. Good luster overall. Note: Has been repaired.
