Antique Child's Bed. Circa Early 1800s. Has been handed down in the family from daughter to daughter, beginning with Abigail Smith, who was married to Lowell Smith (of 'Smith Street' Downtown Honolulu) to their daughter Emma who married Benjamin F. Dillingham. It then went to their daughter Mary who married Walter F. Frear (Hawaii Governer appointed by President T. Roosevelt). Later handed down to their daughter Virginia Wild. It was handed down two generations further. This history was verbally recounted by the last owner of this bed, who passed away in 2017.
