Blue Ocean Barns, the global leader in the production of asparagopsis taxiformis, a macroalgae produced in land-based aquaculture, is relocating its R&D operations overseas. Up for auction: 24 stand-alone shipping containers and shipping containers converted to office space, commercial-grade water pumps, filters, 30-foot aquaculture tanks, round storage tanks, operations equipment, metal storage cabinets, tools, tons of PVC pipes, lumber and other materials. These are at its multi-acre R&D facility at NELHA in Kona (Big Island of Hawaii), where it began operating in late 2022. Most of the auction items were acquired new and have been meticulously maintained since then. A LOT MORE WILL BE ADDED TO THIS AUCTION.
Online auction ends Oct. 17 (starts ending at 6pm, with lots closing in one-minute intervals). Onsite inspection date/time will be announced.
Payment due by 1pm the day after the auction ends. Pmt by VISA/MC, cashier's check, cash. 3% fee on Visa/MC transactions.
