Niihau Shell Lei. Authenticated. Momi Kua'ula (off white "dove shells" ribbed or grooved Momi shells sometimes with light brown streaks or splotches). 10 strands measuring 61 inches including the clasp. Assessed characteristics: Good, even selection of shell size and color distribution. A good choice of color and luster of the cowry with its blushing tawny ochre hues. Good overall luster and flow of the lei. Note: Could use a slight cinching up on a couple of the strands near the clasp.
