Niihau Shell Lei. Authenticated. Momi Ke'oke'o (white "dove" shells). Sewn in traditional Pikake style (Jasmine flower) lei style. 2 strands measuring 61 inches including the clasp. Typical "dance" lei length. Clasp is a 1-inch ocean-weathered Bumpy or Granulated Cowry with some pink blushing (Poleholeho 'apu'upu'u) embellished with 2 Kauno'o or rare variegated sundial shells on each side of the cowry. Other assessed characteristics: Good shell selection in size, color, and alignment allowing for property flexibility and fluidity. Good overall luster. Note: Has been repaired. Damaged & needs fixing. 1 shell missing.
