Niihau Shell Lei. Authenticated. Sewn in the Pikake (Jasmine flower) lei style. 3 strands measuring 38 inches including the clasp. Momi Uli Uli (Fairly rare silver­ grey/blue "dove" shells). The clasp is traditional Bumpy or Granulated Cowry 1 and 1/4 inches (Poleholeho 'apu'upu'u) surrounded typically with 2 Puka shells- naturally worn cone shell bottoms with convenient holes on each side of the cowry. Assessed characteristics: Good shell selection in size, color, and synchronized placement lending to appropriate fluidity and flexibility. Excellent overall luster. Note: Has been repaired.
