Niihau Shell Lei. Momi Ke'oke'o (White "Dove Shells") 5 strands measuring 36 inches including the clasp. The Cowry clasp is a traditional Poleholeho 'apu'upu'u or bumpy or Granulated cowry, white due to sun bleaching and polished in the surf measuring 3/4 inch enhanced on each side with 2 rare variegated sun dial shells. This cowry has a glistening shine to it, which is not common in adult cowry making it rare. Typically, only juvenile cowries exhibit this shine. Other assessed characteristics: Good selection of shell size, color, and luster. Appropriate fluidity and flow of the strands with occasional inconsistency in strand straightness. Note: Could use some cinching up on a few of the strands.
