Pete Seeger has the longest neck and scale (open tuned to E below G rather than the traditional G). It can be capoed at the 3rd fret to be in the key of G and at the 5th fret for the key of A.....usually the most common keys of the early American traditional musical instrument. The neck is solid maple finished with 100% Tung oil. The soundboard is of aviation plywood. The hoop is a light and very durable cardboard composite material. Hand made and finished the item weighs in at about 3 lbs. The wooden top is quieter than the models with the skin tops having "a true tone all it's own" also saving many relationships!
